"Mom Life" is a soundscape portraying the hardships that are gained when becoming a mom. In this audio a tired mom is trying to do her homework, while her baby needs constant attention. During this soundscape the baby makes many messes, touches things that shouldn't be touched, cries for milk, needs entertainment, and even has to receive a bath from spilling food everywhere. My main goal is to portray how difficult it is to get anything done with a baby, especially homework. I tried to make it interesting by switching up different scenes and activities but there is always a repetitive nature with babies. Babies use crying to explain their needs and feelings. I want the listeners to feel like they are a mom and taking care of their baby. Overall, I am very happy with how this turned out. I really focused on storytelling and I believe that "Mom Life" expresses a story that can be followed by anyone. I wish that my effects were more evident in the sound and that I had a wider variety of baby crying sounds.
